great beach front home features a large open greatroom and a large kitchen
with granite tops, island, stainless appliances, breakfast bar with
new blue bar stools and all the amenities of your home. The dining room
boasts a large wooden table with bench and five chairs, can fit the
biggest family! The large living room has seating for 12! A beautiful
blue accent décor matches the unparalelled view of the Gulf outside
the large windows and sliding glass door. The deck is huge, with seating
for 20 people with comfortable couches, lounge chairs, adirondack chairs
and outdoor dining table with 8 chairs. The view will take your breath
away – you will never want to be inside! Cool ceramic tile floors
are throughout the house. There are four flat-screen TVs (42" in
living room), and a DVD library to choose from. In addition, you will
find a little library if you are looking for a beach read and plenty
of games in the storage under the TV. Wireless internet is provided.
The gulf-side bedrooms overlook the spacious deck with unrestricted
gulf views! Fall asleep to the melody of nature’s waves, it is
a moment you will always treasure. This home on the Gulf’s edge,
down the stairs and you are on your beach! A short walk to West End
Beach where the summer season features movie nights and musical events.

Please note: The photos below are taken to show the beach following Tropical Storm Cristobal (June 10). Dauphin Island received a direct hit and the far western end of the island incurred a significant amount of beach erosion...lots of sand over the roads, driveways and gulf-side stairs comprimised. The sand from the roads has been moved closer to the beach by Town contractors. Over the course of a couple of months the sand will migrate to the beach. The beaches are recovering and the Town has done a great job in a short time in getting things back to somewhat normal. Driveways are subject to being covered with sand but there is adjacent parking along the street. The photos were intentionally taken at high tide. At times of low and rising tides the beach will be wider and have more elevation.
