Seven-day (Saturday to Saturday) reservations may be made online. Daily rentals (3-day minimum) must be made by phone. Tentative reservations are taken by phone. To confirm, we must receive your deposit within 7 days. A $55 non-refundable reservation fee applies to all rentals.

We want your vacation on the Island to be relaxing and stress free. The following information is provided to help you in making your reservation.


• Call us: 251-861-8042. Monday thru Saturday, or
• Check out our properties online, chose your favorite, check for availability and reserve online using our secure server, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


• Summer Seasons: All homes rent weekly, from Saturday to Saturday.
• Off-Season: Some homes will do 3 and 4-day minimums.
• Monthly Rentals are available in the Off-Season.
• Condominiums: Some units are flexible with weeks/ daily rentals. Give us a call!


A nonrefundable reservation fee of $60 is charged on all rentals, a cleaning and linen fee, and 11% lodging tax on the rent. Travel insurance is optional and is 6.9% of the total.
A $45 nonrefundable damage waiver, not included in the reservation, can be added up until the time of check-in. Otherwise there is a $3,000 refundable damage deposit. There is a $55 cancellation fee on all reservations.


All homes and condos are privately owned and the furnishing and decor will reflect the owners tastes and are subject to change. Your home or condo will include the following:

Bed linens, towels, and pillows, kitchen items, a start-up supply of paper products and soap,
washer and dryer, air conditioning, dishwasher, telephone.


AT TIME OF BOOKING A PAYMENT OF "50%" of the base rental is due. The BALANCE of the rent is due 30 days prior to arrival. Trip Insurance is offered at only 6.9% of the total trip cost (this covers the unforeseen things that could affect your trip). IF YOU DO NOT PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE, IT MAY EFFECT YOUR RIGHT FOR A REFUND. "Damage Protection Plan" For $45 provides you and your family coverage for unintentional damage. This does not cover smoking, unauthorized entry into owners closests, excessive cleaning, pet damages, or intentional damage.

This Vacation Rental Damage plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3,000. Any damages that exceed $3,000 will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our Rental Properties, an Insured Person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or actual cash value of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3,000. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy (www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/G20VRD). The Vacation Rental Damage can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly Dauphin Island Real Estate, Inc. any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage. Please contact Dauphin Island Real Estate, Inc. directly if you do not wish to participate in this plan or assignment.

We offer TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE, which is provided by CSA - Guest Protect Travel Protection. This policy is "GUEST PROTECT" Travel Proctection. We strongly advise you to consider this insurance, as it will protect your vacation due to delays such as illness, medical emergencies, hurricanes and other severe weather, delayed flights, lost luggage, troubles that can occur when you least expect.

Travel insurance will be added to your reservation. (6.9% of Total Rent) If you chose not to take the coverage you will have to sign on your guest license agreement to verify that you are opting out. If you decline the rental insurance this may affect your right to a refund.

GUEST LICENSE AGREEMENTS should be returned within 7 days of booking. you may fax, email, or send us mail (only last two pages need sent please). you must sign to decline travel insurance.

ALL CANCELLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A $55 CANCELLATION FEE. If you give less than minimum notice your advanced payment will be forfeited to the property owner. If property is rebooked, it must be booked for the full rental amount. If travel insurance was purchased you may qualify for a refund. CANCELLATIONS: For condominium rentals 30 days before arrival, for house rentals - 60 days, monthly rentals - 90 days, refunds are issued for cancellations outside of the cancellation date range. All cancellations must be confirmed with a rental agent. The reservation fee and the cost of travel insurance are non-refundable. You must contact "CSA" for your refund if you purchased travel insurance.

All properties are limited to actual sleeping capacity shown. Singles must be 25 years of age or older. No sororities, fraternities, house parties, graduation parties, or weddings are allowed. Identification must be furnished upon request. Reservations made under false pretense may be subject to loss of rent and eviction. we strive to maintain a quiet atmosphere for all guests in surrounding accommodations. any violation of the above are grounds for eviction and forfeiture of rent and deposit.

Pets are not permitted in most of our rental properties. Some homes are dog-friendly. Dog Friendly Page
There are certain rules we ask that you must abide if you bring your dog to one of our dog-friendly properties
• Dogs must be up to date on all shots.
• Dogs must be under a pest management system for fleas and ticks.
• Do not allow your dog on furniture.
• Please ensure that your dog does not chew on furniture or other items.
• Please clean up after your dog. Children like to walk and play in the sand.
• There is a leash law on Dauphin Island.

IMPORTANT: Please check your confirmation the correct arrival/departure dates, that the corrrect unit has been reserved, the rental amount, and the correct number of occupants.

CHECK-IN IS 4:00 PM OR AFTER - Some properties may need extra cleaning and check-in can be delayed. We ask for your patience. Contact our office if you will arrive after 5:00pm. Check-out time is 10:00 am!

All homes and condos are non smoking. You may smoke outside, but you must close all doors going into property and dispose of evidence properly.

Occasionally a home will come on the market for sale.our office will contact you to set up an appointment for the showing at a time convenient for you.

We make every effort to maintain our rental properties. However, repairs may be necessary during your stay and we will do our best to handle them as quickly as possible. No rent refunds will be made for mechanical failures, power outages, or other mechanical malfunctions.

DEPARTURE, please dispose of ALL TRASH in outside containers ( take garbage containers to street the night before - service can be very early. A fee of $100 will be charged for garbage not taken to the street for pick up. Leave kitchen items clean and returned to proper location. Lock doors & windows. Remove bed linens from all beds that have been used and start a load if possible. In general leave the unit tidy. Turn off all lights and appliances. Return all furnishings to their original position. Do not move items from one unit to another.  All keys must be returned to our office. Excessive cleaning will be charged to the renter.


• Motor home or travel trailer hook-ups are not allowed.
• Locked owners closets are not included in your rental.
• Fireworks are prohibited by local ordinance.
• No fires on beaches.
• No motorized vehicles on dunes or beaches
• No Grilling on Decks

All homes are non-smoking. You may smoke on decks and outside, but we ask that you close all doors going into property and dispose of "the evidence" properly.

Occasionally a home will come on the market for sale. Our office will contact you to set up an appointment for the showing at a time convenient for you.

While most of our properties include complimentary wireless Internet, it is not always 100% reliable on Dauphin Island due to weather events and other conditions beyond our control. If Internet connectivity is imperative to you during your stay, please consider bringing your own Internet device such as a Verizon Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot, or have your IPhone or Android phone set up as a Back-up Hot Spot, or plan to work from one of the Hot Spot locations on the Island such as the Dauphin Island Welcome Center or DI Real Estate office. Dauphin Island REal Estate tries very hard to maintain quality Internet service, but we cannot promise it will be fully functional during your stay with us due to circumstances beyond our control, nor can we offer refunds due to Internet outages.

If the Island is put under a mandatory hurricane or tropical storm evacuation we will refund for the days not used. This refund will be mailed to you by check.

During your visit you may stop by the office and make a reservation for next year. These are subject to rate change and availability. NOT ON SATURDAYS PLEASE!

FURNISHINGS All homes and condos are privately owned. the furnishing and decor will reflect the owners tastes and are subject to change. Amenities are subject to change without notice.

If for some unforseen circumstance your rental property becomes unavailable, we will contact you immediately to discuss alternatives either with Dauphin Island Real Estate or another rental company.
Guests have full responsibility for damages due to misuse, negligence, or missing items. each home is inspected after departure.

Advertising errors: We accept no responsibility for inadvertant errors on the website or on the reservation forms concerning a rental propery.

is not responsible for injuries or accidents that may occur while guests are occupying the said property or for any theft or damage to personal items in unit during occupancy.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our properties are equipped with electric cargo lifts. Due to insurance regulations, these lifts are for owner use only, and are not available for guest use. Thanks.

All units are charged a cleaning and linen fee based on size of unit.
Linens ( sheets & towels ) are provided but you will need to bring beach towels & chairs. also needed are soaps, detergents, paper products, & trash bags.

Desoto Landing, Sandcastle Condos, Dauphin Island Beach Club, The Inn at Dauphin Island, Holiday Isle and Audubon Place have separate rental agreements and rules. Renters agree to abide by regulations in these areas.

GROCERY STORES are located at exit 17-B (about 30 minutes from the island)
DIRECTIONS TO OFFICE: From interstate 10, take exit 17-A to Dauphin Island ( well marked...approximately 29 miles ). Upon arrival to the island, proceed to water tower and 3-way stop ( main intersection ). Turn right and go exactly one mile. Our office is located on the right.
Late arrivals need to contact the office and make arrangements for key pick up and final payment of balance (if due) during office hours.
